Yugal Joshi, Senior Research Analyst, is a member of the ITO research team. Yugal drives the syndicated research for the ITO practice at Everest Group. He is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, understanding the broader IT outsourcing market in terms of evolving trends, provider positioning, engagement models, business strategies, and growth opportunities. Yugal is also responsible to provide insights to the various market participants in IT outsourcing landscape.

Yugal has a special interest in tracking the financial performance and outlook of various technology service providers, analyzing their evolving business strategy, competitive landscape, and industry dynamics.

In his personal capacity, Yugal contributes articles for leading Indian magazines and newspapers on global technology, telecom, and the sourcing industry.

Before joining Everest Group, he worked as an equity research lead in a financial services company, leading a cross-industry analyst team. He was responsible for developing the research agenda, selling the research output to leading brokering houses, and providing market insights to the corporate strategy and sales team. Earlier in his career he worked with leading product and software services companies such as Adobe Systems and Tata Consultancy Services.

He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and an engineering degree from Delhi College of Engineering, New Delhi, India.
