The Egyptian offshore global services industry showed its mettle during the country’s political turmoil of 2011-2013, continuing to deliver services to its clients with minimum disruption. Since then, the establishment of a stable government along with existing players’ experience of smooth and uninterrupted service delivery, has helped Egypt’s return to the location decision radar of global players.
In this viewpoint, we evaluate Egypt as a location for delivery of global services (especially to Europe, Middle East and Africa) and offer perspectives on the drivers, challenges and future outlook for the global services industry in Egypt.
