We have heard of smart process automation, however, there is also a smart way of adopting the relevant technologies. This involves learning the fundamentals of Service Delivery Automation (SDA), putting the knowledge & expertise into a Center of Excellence (CoE), and then reusing the skills several times. The not-so-smart way is to go through the same SDA learning curve over and over again, while keeping the skills in silos. This article examines the benefits that a CoE can bring to enterprises and the key factors that organizations should consider when setting one up.
